kong vinter has arrived!

"kong vinter" has finally arrived in my little norwegian hometown, volda. at least for a few days! i have been waiting for him for SO long! my south african boyfriend, justin, has stayed here for 6 weeks - and most of the time we have had standardized sunnmørsweather (that is rain, rain, rain, 7 degrees, 6 degrees, 9 degrees, 3 degrees..). but of course, as he entered the plane to go home to 35 degrees in cape town (shame on you!) the snow started falling! and falling! and falling....

thus we have had some gorgeous days in volda, and of course i had to bring one of my very good friends (my camera) on a little photosafari. however i was not able to document my fabulous snow shoveling and all the swearing that came with it ;)

finally - yes finally - i have managed to create my own blog!
so to all of you thinking that i belong in the stoneage (referring to my group emails with pictures attached..) 
- I AM PROVING YOU ALL WRONG, m-hm! :)

this will be my bi-lingual little world.
i consider myself as loyal to the norwegian state,
however i am also very much a world citizen. 
there will be a domination of the english language for obvious reasons,
and i will also write in my mother tongue (in all possible forms..).
but hey - there will definately be lots of norglish, some afrikaans and even some xhosa!
that means; so much for the bi-linguality!
